Sponsor a child and secure their future

21 October 2021

Pakistan Association Dubai (PDA) is a volunteer, non-profit, social welfare and cultural organization of the expatriate Pakistanis, serving the community since 1963.

We, the Pakistani diaspora in the United Arab Emirates, are the second largest overseas community and one of the oldest expatriate groups in the country. We provide development and humanitarian assistance with the help of volunteers and staff.

In 2009, more than 7,000 children became orphans as around 3,500 people were killed in Swat during a military operation, leading to the largest population of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

Through our local NGO in Pakistan, Parwarish, we established an orphanage and are supporting it on a
regular basis. Expatriate Pakistanis have sponsored children for $100 (Dh367) per month or $1, 200 per year.
These costs covers school fees, hostel stay, uniforms, books, health care, all the meals, entertainment and sports.

The program of sponsoring a child's education and life, means giving these orphans a chance to grow up healthy, educated and safe. This not only changes their life, but it changes also the life of the sponsor, too.
