The 1K Project for Ukraine: Getting your Money to Those Who Need It Most!

29 April 2022

Do you know a family in Ukraine who urgently needs help to survive the next few weeks and months?

Then register with the 1K Project for Ukraine. The $1K Project Ukraine is a diaspora network, 100% run by volunteers, who connect sponsors in USA and around the world to help Ukrainian families impacted by the current conflict in Ukraine.

Helping 1K at a time! More than 4,600 Ukrainian families supported

The 1K Project for Ukraine provides direct person-to-person relief. People around the world can send $1K to directly support a family in Ukraine that has been impacted by the war. We launched our initiative 2 months ago, and have already raised $4.9M and funded 4,600 Ukrainian families, but the need is immense. 102,000 Ukrainian families have already applied to The 1K Project for funding and we are working around the clock to help as many families as possible.

To become a sponsor for a family please fill out this short application. We will match you with an Ukrainian family in need and provide instructions for how to directly send them relief through http://wise.com. We as an organization take no fees, we just match you directly with the family and you send them the money.

Who is behind the 1K Project?

The $1K Project for Ukraine is powered by a group of over 80 volunteers. The 1K Project was founded by tech entrepreneur and investor - Alex Iskold who was born in Ukraine. We are plugged into people on the ground in Ukraine and have a vast referral network. We prioritize funding for single moms and families with multiple children. The 1K Project has been featured on CNNTechcrunchAxiosBusiness InsiderCNBC and Bloomberg.

Originally, Alex created http://1kproject.org to help families impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The original $1K Project raised over $3M and was covered in NYTimes, Forbes, and other top publications. Once the conflict in Ukraine escalated, Alex re-launched the project with the sole focus of helping Ukrainian families.
