Adopt a Revolution

Activists supported by Adopt a Revolution, for example, ran secular schools, independent newspapers documenting human rights crimes, civic centers bringing together different ethnic and religious groups to counter hatred, or women’s centers promoting emancipation even in the most conservative corners of the country. In addition to financial support, Adopt a Revolution tries to establish solidarity between German and Syrian civil society and to transfer knowledge: The aim is to create an exchange of experience between local and Syrian groups that will strengthen Syrian civil society.
