DEMAC

DEMAC - Diaspora Emergency Action & Coordination is a global initiative aiming at enhancing mutual knowledge and coordination, communication and coherence between diaspora humanitarian actors and the institutional humanitarian system. Further, DEMAC seeks to increase engagement and visibility for diaspora organizations in the humanitarian system. DEMAC contributes to a deeper understanding of diasporas as humanitarian actors and thus adds to transforming the humanitarian ecosystem. The DEMAC initiative is hosted by the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and funded by USAID (BHA).
