DSF has been committed to helping people in need in Syria and neighbouring countries, Lebanon and Turkey, since 2011. Their focus is on the support of orphans by taking over orphan sponsorships, the area of school and adult education as well as in particular projects to help people to help themselves and finally short-term emergency aid actions such as the distribution of food, winter aid (clothing, etc.) or medical help.
