Humanitarian African Relief Organization (HARO), is a non-profit organization, which is committed to helping Africans in need. Their main focus is getting food, shelter, clothing, and medicine to the horn of Africa. Their Vision is to help foster an environment in which hunger, malnutrition, illiteracy, and pernicious diseases become unknown to many people in Africa who otherwise lack the necessary resources to prevent these malignant problems. Their Goal is to explore the resettlements and rehabilitation projects and design alternatives; to enhance, or at least restore, the livelihood of all displaced persons and to improve standards of living, negative impacts include: loss of land, loss of structure, loss of livelihood.
